Historical and artistic heritage
The historic centre was designated a Monumental Complex in 2003. Among the buildings in this historic centre walked some of the leading European scientists of the 18th and 19th centuries, on their way to and from the Royal Seminary. That is why we say that walking through these streets is like taking a stroll through another period in history.
